Childbirth Meditation Hypnobirth CD feedback...a fantastic experience - it really was a labour of love! I can thoroughly recommend your guided childbirth meditations to help women prepare for a positive, natural and calm birth
Remembered that I wanted to let you know how the birth went, after using your CDs. I mainly used the Labour of Love meditation in the month before I was due, but occasionally used the Tranquil Birth one, too. Probably managed about three sessions a week on average. I had a baby boy named Dylan on Sept 1. I had to be induced as he was 10 days overdue, which caused me a fair amount of stress in the couple of days prior to Sept 1 and on the morning of the day itself. However, the induction process went well (the prostaglandin gel worked, with no need for an oxytocin drip), bringing on contractions in a very natural fashion. I had the most positive and uncomplicated birth possible - a truly amazing experience - which I attribute to the work I had done with your CDs (enabling me to stay relaxed and to trust in my body to handle the process) plus the use of a TENS device throughout. I required no additional pain control, so it really was a dream birth for me. I was not sure whether I would be able to manage the pain, but I was so relaxed and so full of the body's natural painkillers that it was not a hard thing to achieve at all. The midwives were absolutely astonished at how calm, seemingly pain-free, and in control, I was.
So, all in all, a fantastic experience - it really was a labour of love! I can thoroughly recommend your guided childbirth meditations to help people prepare for a positive, natural and calm birth. With best regards, Sept 2005
You will be pleased to know that the CD "Mothers Devotion and Love" is of great benefit. I actually really enjoy it!
Thanks to the "Birth - A Labour of Love" CD, I have had a calm and comfortable birth. A peaceful entry into the world for my gorgeous little boy, Timothy. Both of us are doing really well. He has been rather unsettled due to difficulties with starting breastfeeding, but we seem to be through that patch now and he has turned into a champion sleeper and eater. I'm surprised at how calm and relaxed I am even during the unsettled times, plus how much energy I have. Loving the little fella more and more each day. Thanks again, wishing you all the best. Just wanted to let you know that your relaxation CD "Mothers Devotion and Love" as well as hypnobirthing and pre-natal bonding with the baby have been fantastic. To be honest, the bonding has been an entirely unexpected benefit for me, although it makes perfect sense with hindsight. I really did the course with the hope that it would improve the birth experience (which it absolutely did). The benefit of having a relaxed, happy baby (and hopefully over the long term, a relaxed and happy child and adult), has just been a huge bonus. I think a large part of the benefit of listening to the "Mothers Devotion and Love" Cd - besides the relaxation, has been the trust and confidence that I have gained in myself, in him and in our relationship and that we will know and do, what is best for us. All those affirmations about trusting yourself and your baby are just brilliant, really! Dr. T.N - Sydney
On the 28th of November, 2005 our beautiful little daughter, Anwen was born. She arrived four days late, but in a rather unexpectedly quick 9 hour labour! Firstly, both Andy and I would like to thank you for the wonderful Childbirth CDs. Without the relaxation techniques the birth would have been a very different (and far more painful) experience I am sure. I awoke in the morning with irregular tightening and believing it would be a day or so before true labour was established, as this was my first baby, Andrew went to work. At 10.30am I had to call him to let him know I could really do with his support as the contractions were strengthening and beginning to make me feel a bit nauseous. By the time he arrived home I had listened to your CDs and was relaxed as the contractions became more and more regular. We called the Birth Centre to let them know that I had gone into full labour with contractions one minute apart, but on hearing how calm I was they suggested we stay at home for a while longer. So I got into the bath with some relaxing music in the background until we were ready to head off to the hospital. Unfortunately, due to the presence of meconium, Anwen's cord had to be clamped and cut and she had to be taken for suctioning, although it wasn't too long before I could hold my lovely baby for the first time. A moment I will never forget. C.G - Sydney Back to Top of Page
