Congratulations! On Your Pregnancy
HypnoBirthing Classes
Imagine a calm peaceful birth... Relaxation is the key to a peaceful, calm birth. HypnoBirthing classes teach a relaxing, rewarding and stress-free approach to prepare a woman for a more calm, comfortable childbirth. Understanding and having faith in what your body can do, is the first and most important step to having a natural calm birth.
HypnoBirthing classes are structured in such a way that the father and/or support partner, is encouraged to attend. The importance of having your support partner attend; cannot be overstated. The partners love and support throughout pregnancy and during birth, provide valuable reassurance and bonding in preparation for the birth of your baby and pending parenthood.
The best time to attend class is between 22 and 28 weeks of pregnancy, giving you ample time to practice the techniques. These Hypnobirthing techniques are down-to-earth, straightforward and easily learned. Many couples who have attended class, even much later in pregnancy, have achieved excellent results. More about HypnoBirthing origins and advantages.
"My pregnancy was a textbook pregnancy, I felt great, was glowing and ate well. But at the back of my mind I feared this was all too easy and the birth would be a nightmare. So I did something about it and attended Hypnobirthing classes.
It was the best thing I could have done. As I wanted a natural birth, being prepared for it was crucial. Others said Hypnobirthing was a 'gimmick' it wouldn't work and I'd end up having a caesarean like most women today. I believed in Hypnobirthing and that's all that mattered, I have not looked back since. I still can't believe the whole birth experience was so positive and so easy and straightforward... I felt mild discomfort, but not pain" Belinda... read the (full story)

Jackson surprised us by deciding to be born at home! Marina was awesome and I had the privilege of receiving him directly from her. He's a peaceful boy. I think it had a lot to do with the calm, confident, fear-free way Marina approached his impending and actual arrival. Thank you for providing us with a new paradigm with which to approach Jackson's birthing. I have now experienced first-hand how powerful the HypnoBirthing way can be. Rex...

Xina's second stage was only 19 minutes!!! A few major contractions, lots of deep breaths and a focused resolve to stay calm led to her baby coming out literally in one push! Xina had absolutely, no pain medication whatsoever!

I am reading an interesting book, which is about how a person's experience in utero as well as in infancy and early childhood affects psychological and neural development.
It has made me realise how enormously beneficial Hypnobirthing is. Not just for the birthing experience, but because of the relaxation during pregnancy and because it really facilitates a relaxed and positive attitude, towards health in pregnancy and the baby and therefore, towards parenting. I am so sure that it is one of the reasons that Louis is a relaxed baby and why I feel calm and confident as a mother. You will also be pleased to know that the CD "Mothers Devotion and Love" is of great benefit. I actually really enjoy it!
